A 408 Acre Arable and Livestock Farm
Here at Stantor Barton farm we act as Guardians of the countryside
remaining here for life not just a fleeting visit with legacy passed onto generations to come, Andrew is a 3rd generation farmer, currently the Farm has 180 breeding Poll Dorset Ewes, with 160 Lambs and increasing daily, 50 Simmental Autumn Calving Cows with their calves at foot, 48 Simmental Spring Calving Cows due to start Calving 1st March, This season we will be growing winter wheat, Winter Barley, Winter Oats - These crops are used to feed our animals throughout the year and any surplus is sold on to feed merchants, Maize and grass silage for the cattle over winter and Fodderbeet for the sheep after lambing.
